Although charismatic singer Dave Gahan is currently still touring the world with his main band DEPECHE MODE it looks like he already has plans for the time after it. As he now told in an interview with magazine Sonic Seducer Gahan is planning to record a second album with British alternative band SOULSAVERS. He already provided vocals on the 2012 record The Light The Dead See.

And the bluesy gospel sound clearly had some influence on Delta Machine, the latest album by his band. Gahan says he’s cosntantly in contact with SOULSAVERS mastermind Rich Machin to discuss ideas and he’s confident that they might release something in the spring of 2015. With two records in the hand they might even do a tour after this. We’ll keep you updated on this.
