The time of gifts has arrived and people begin to flood the malls in a sudden hunt for joy. In such an environment it’s actually quite nice to receive a simple, calm and unpretentious ‘Thank You!’. Exactly that is what Berlin based dream folk band STILL PARADE present to us in form of a free download of the song called Hunter. Maybe it’s just the fact that it is some sort of an early christmas gift but it really recalls a silent night with snow falling peacefully onto trees and streets. Synths, an acoustic guitar and Niklas Kramer’s distant voice interact neatly on this, creating a calm, reflective atmosphere. The song itself is not contained on the Fields-EP that STILL PARADE published earlier this year. It’s free and for our listening pleasure only. So grab it and prepare for the upcoming stressful days and weeks by contemplating a little.
