Last weekend legendary Britrockers THE LIBERTINES played a celebrated comeback show at the Hyde Park and a tour of new dates is also coming soon. But Pete Doherty, Carl Barât and co. are also planning to record their long awaited third album this fall.

Barât told the NME: ‘Next year, it has to be. I don’t wanna just go on the road because then you’ll get cabin fever and have an epic fallout. So yeah, I want to keep something fresh coming in. We just need to find the time.’ According to the musician the band will decamp to Germany later this year to start the writing session for the follow-up to 2004’s self-titled second album. NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION will keep you updated on any news from THE LIBERTINES.
