As the Berlin headquarters of NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION aren’t that spoiled with snow these days we’ve got one more reason to enjoy the following music video. New Gods by by Swiss duo FROM KID is throwing us right into the middle of a winterly setting as it presents us frosting images accompanied by warm sounds. You might remember Andrin Berchtold and Gian Reto Camenisch from back in 2014 where we already reported about their tunes Colors and Underground in the wake of their debut LP You Can Have All The Wonders back then.
Now, the two gentlemen return with a follow-up called Favourite Storm on Apri the 7th which was recorded in the isolation of an old cabin in the mountains, far away from the everday urban chaos. It’s no surprise that the relationship between human and nature marks a key element in the new FROM KID which might also explain the key sentence that starts this haunting video: ‘Earth no longer accepts our presence with silence.’
