Malmö band YAST put out their self-titled debut album a few years ago (you can read NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION’s very favourable review here), and now they’re gearing up to release the follow-up, My Dreams Did Finally Come True. They teased the album with the foggy shoegaze single When You’re Around back in April, a pretty piece of wistful indie, built around sparkling guitar riffs. Now we’re delighted to present the exclusive premiere of the Lazy Live Session version of the track.

This take sees the band adopt a slower, more blurry approach to the track. Guitar notes are allowed to drift and float, and the whole thing moves at a more relaxed, hazy pace. The track is reworked as a breezy, chill-out piece of dream-rock. It’s a great exploration and reinvention of the song’s qualities, and you can check it out below. My Dreams Did Finally Come True is out on September 18th on Adrian Recordings, and YAST play Nurnberg Pop Festival on September 19th.
