The past twelve months have been exciting and defining ones for Ryan James, the mastermind behind Welsh  synthpop outfit Man Without Country. After a pretty successful crowdfunding campaign his self-produced and self-released third studio Infinity Mirror now finally arrives for the rest of the world on October 26 and if you’re not convinced yet NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION is offering you the exclusive stream of this tremendous record ahead of its official release.

Man Without Country

Earlier this year James already detailed the long and winding road that lead towards this new record, a road that wasn’t easy at all. If you haven’t read that feature we highly recommend you to do so. And of course, we highly recommend you to give this new album a spin. If you happen to be a fan of Man Without Country‘s previous work you’ll dig it anyway but all lovers of cinematic synthpop, sonic landscapes and a certain love for dark themes who didn’t fall for the spell of this band yet are also more than welcome. Infinity Mirror takes the strength of previous releases and adds a tender new confidence to the equation. There are still great hovering and psychedelic moments like in Lafayette and Dog Mind but James also still knows how to write proper pop songs that instantly stuck in your ear. The pumping Beta Blocker and the house piano driven Achilles’ Heel are great examples for that.

Infinity Mirror is a journey into sound and the journey leading up to it only underlines the determination and quality of these songs. Man Without Country deserve your recognition and without further ado please push the ‘play’ button right here.
