How times flies, right? We celebrate the half time of 2015 today. Well, let’s face it, the world itself has seen better years in its history and we’re far from perfect. Still, music remains a solid foundation of our lives and seems to be more diversified and classy than before. 2015 saw a lot of satisfying songs so far. We witnessed the return of old friends like BLUR, MEW, SARAH P. or SUFJAN STEVENS. On the other hand we got new and exciting acts like BULLY, IMAGINARY WAR, WOLF ALICE, RAT BOY or SHURA whose tracks got us more than exciting.
To celebrate the first six months of 2015 NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION sat down and compiled our 40 favourite songs of the year so far. You can find them all in the Soundcloud playlist below. Just a friendly service in case you are not familiar with every artist of this selection. But be aware: there’s space for everything in here. Expect driving rock anthems, tender songwriter gems, grooving beats and psychedelic dreamy trips. Darkness and light go hand in hand in this almost three hour long ride through our favourite songs of 2015, so far. May it save the upcoming weekend and guide you through the rest of the year.
