BEATLES, STONES, Motown, Lou Reed, Hendrix, BOWIE (at least at the end), Woodstock – you can’t deny that the 1960s have been a very important decade for modern music. It was basically the era when everything exploded, the big bang of beat music. Even now, half a century later, today’s musicians seek for guidance and inspiration in that important time period. Philadelphia-based fuzz-pop four piece LITERATURE makes no exception here.

Just in time for the release of their new longplayer Chorus (out now via Slumberland Records) the band sat down to compile their favourite tunes from the 60s in form of a very special NBHAP Guestmix. From swinging rock ‘n’ roll to sweet soul and caressing French chansons; this selection shows the variety of the decade and, in some ways, its timelessness.

Put on your finest suits and pretend you’re playing this mix from a dusty old vinyl record. LITERATURE take you back to the golden days, join them right here.
