As the days get shorter, the leaves are falling and things are getting a bit colder in general it’s time to focus on one of the most popular playlists on NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION‘s Spotify profile again: Melancholic Moments. So, just in time for the start of the season we rearranged a few tracks, throw old ones out and added a whole bunch of delicate new songs to the selection.

The playlist now opens with strong female leadership by Jen Cloher, Soccer Mommy, Daughter, Tusks and St. Vincent. But we also included fresh material by The National, Loney Dear or The War On Drugs to it. And there’s talented new and widley unknown artists we want you to enjoy, like German folk band Frère and Swedish dream pop two-piece Wy who recently also wrote a very great guest article for NBHAP about the (creative) benefit and burden of suffering from sociel anxiety.

It’s the perfect soundtrack for rainy days, walking through the city’s streets or the grey countryside, alone or in company. Melancholia can be a facinating and partly also empowering feeling and as always we’re quite pleased if you stick with us when it comes to these moments.
