Australian experimental pop trio ALUKA went interesting new recording ways with their just released debut record Space. The band – who is basically only using their own vocals to create music – produced each track in a very unique and specific environment. From a bathroom to an indoor swimming pool or even a World War II bunker. It’s really fascinating to see what sounds and structures ALUKA can create just with the power of the female voice and various effects on it.
As the three-piece is currently giving insight in the making of the longplayer, NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION is quite happy to bring you the premiere of the episode about them recording the track Swim Down. It was done in cars – which might sound easy first, but is quite special when you think about it. Watch it right here.
