Canadian indie rock giants ARCADE FIRE are currently quite busy in the making of their fourth studio album. The yet untitled follow-up to 2010’s The Suburbs might be released in late 2013, but details are still to follow.
What we already can confirm is the fact that the band is working with DFA-label chef and former head of LCD SOUNDSYSTEM – James Murphy – on the longplayer.Being longtime friends we can expect some high quality stuff, since the DFA Twitter account tweeted today: “Arcade Fire STILL with us at DFA… This is going to be one great sounding album!” We keep you updated on all ARCADE FIRE news – in the meantime here is a clip of Murphy performing with the band on his LCD SOUNDSYSTEM farewell gig in 2011.
