Ballet School - Cherish

As you might know NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION follows Berlin-based alternative pop newcomers BALLET SCHOOL for a while now. And it’s good to see that the two gentlemen and charismatic lead singer Rosie Blair finally seem to take off. While the band recently announced its debut album The Drew Lasts An Hour we just can’t get enough of the recent single from it, Cherish.

Somewhere between cool ‘early 90s’ lo-fi attitude and the tender ‘new wave’ romance of the 80s Blair and her boys unleash the right emotions to fall for them. ‘Love is the only reason left to live’  she sings in the track. Yes, it’s about the big emotions right here, packed in gentle pop songs. The full album will be released on September the 9th via Bella Union, but already today you can follow BALLET SCHOOL into their melancholic microcosm in form of the lyric video for Cherish.
