Dum Dum Girls announce new album Too True, share first track

by

DumDum_TooTrue_coverLo-Fi rock band DUM DUM GIRLS reports back with a new studio album. Too True is the name of the longplayer which arrives on January the 28th via Sub Pop. It’s the first new material since last year’s EP End Of Daze, featuring ten new tracks. Once again, the album was produced by Richard Gottehrer and THE RAVEONETTES’ Sune Rose Wagner. Lead singer Dee Dee promises dark material.

About the vocal recordings she states: “I put pen to paper and I wrote, and then I sang. I sang into my own private microphone, in my tiny bedroom studio, with no one save my make-believe coconspirators to hear me, and no one to weight me with the looming pressure of inability. I was a woman possessed and my possession enabled me.”

Already today DUM DUM GIRLS share a first track and music video from the album. Watch Lost Boys and Girls Club right here.
