Franz Ferdinand and Todd Terje form new band The North Sea

Today come’s an interesting collaboration we haven’t expected in this form. Scottish indie-rock heroes FRANZ FERDINAND and Norwegian disco producer TODD TERJE team up for a new mysterious project called THE NORTH SEA. Today, without further explanation, TERJE uploaded to songs on his Soundcloud.

Both tracks – entitled Stand On The Horizon and Evil Eye – will be also part of the upcoming FRANZ FERDINAND record Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, out on August the 26th. And the Scandinavian producer spread his dancefloor magic all over the tunes in form of grooving extended mixes. But this still doesn’t explain the new band name.
