Friendly Fires and The Asphodells present new song ‘Velo’

After already sharing the psychedelic piece Before Your Eyes with us British indie trio FRIENDLY FIRES and producer duo THE ASPHODELLS (aka Andrew Weatherall and Timothy J Fairplay) now share the second track of their collaborative single. On March 31 the two groups will release the double-single Before Your Eyes/Velo via FRIENDLY FIRES‘ own label Telophase.

And now Velo again sounds like thee best of both worlds. According to the press release the working process on the new single is described as ‘a loose, open-ended process embarked upon for the pure joy of experimentation and collaboration rather than a specific end goal.’ Listen to the new song right here.
