Sound of the Day: Moby – ‘Almost Home’ (Washed Out Remix)

Today’s sound of the day sees two generations of electronic musicians team up for a four-minute-long daydream. We got Richard Hall aka the legendary MOBY and his song Almost Home on one side. And we got Ernest Greene aka WASHED OUT with his rework on the other side. And furthermore we got DAMIEN JURADO on vocals.

And the result of this lovely clash is a great piece of tender electronic bliss. Greene managed to give MOBY‘s Almost Home a different twist, making it an hypnotic enjoyment. Kind of sad that it only lasts four minutes, we must say. The original is taken off Hall’s latest album Innocents, the single – including the remix – arrives on February the 24th.
