Despite all usual rules and habits it is still winter here at the NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION headquarter. Even though spring has officially started a couple of days ago. And for all statistic lovers – it was the coldest start in over a century. Do we need to say more? Not really. Can we take anymore of this? Well, if the sound is right we might feel comfortable just a few more weeks. And today we found the right score for this – Endless, the debut single by danish electro-pop band VINTERTUR is our Sound Of The Day.
The quartet of Mikkel Toft Madsen (vocals, synth) Jonas Meyer (drums), Lars Eriksen (bass, synth) and Jeppe Damgaard (programming) is about to release its first EP – which goes by the same name as the single – in April. It’s a fine mixture of a melancholic wave melody and pumping electronic beats that makes Endless so special. And it’s quite catchy too. VINTERTUR is a band to look out for, we definitely embrace their sound and this song. Maybe even in spring – whenever it may arise.
