People with a certain understanding of pophistorical context might be quite familiar with the name TIM BURGESS – and especially his band THE CHARLATANS. For over two decade this band belongs to the most important ones in the Britpop scene, being quite an influential group for most of these new bands. But like many artists, BURGESS is one that likes to break out from time to time and create something different. Last October he released Oh No I Love You, his second solo album.
The record is a collaboration with songwriter KURT WAGNER and it took a few years to make it. The result shows a different side from the bandleader although he never looses his power to create good melodies.
