bryde

Wait. It’s such a simple word but one that can also carry so much weight. Accompanied by a chilling and tender melody and sung with vocals that feel like they grab inside you, the word ‘wait’ becomes a yearning yet beautiful song. BRYDE – that’s Sarah Howells from PAPER AEROPLANES solo project – manages to combine the slow picking of the electric guitar at the beginning of the track (but that slowly turns into this epic sound throughout the song), with lyrics and a voice that seems to be on the brink of desperation and has you clinging on to every word and emotion.

With already a few BBC radio air plays under her belt, BRYDE is definitely an act to watch for next year. And we at NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION not only recommend listening to her current EP Chocolate Factory Sessions but also seeing BRYDE play live if you can.
