Longtime fans of NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION should know that we share a certain sympathy for British producers Sam Ricketts and Tom Clarke aka CLOUD BOAT. They released two really sweet albums – Book Of Hours in 2013 and Model Of You one year later – and even compiled a truly haunting guestmix for us once.
The two gentlemen recently reported back with a brand new EP called Man Of War which sees them embracing their darker roots way more again while also taking the atmospheric sound of CLOUD BOAT to the next level. The title-track now gets further support with a new remix EP featuring contributions from APPLEBLIM, AMBIVALENT and PHAELEH which bring their own distinguishable flavour to the original. It’s out this Friday – October the 28th – and we’re happy to bring you the world premiere of the PHAELEH rework of Man Of War which is one hell of a cinematic piece of electronica, we must say.
