Who is it?
US producer and songwriter CHELSEA CUTLER, who has previously collaborated with the likes of CHET PORTER. She’s been dabbling around for a while, but now seems to be gearing up for a proper breakthrough, and has just dropped a new single, Your Shirt.
Why should you listen to it?
Your Shirt is a piece of smooth, tasteful electronic pop, where loneliness and loss in a relationship is represented by the well-used signifier of the abandoned shirt. CUTLER shows off her ability with some slick production and delicate melodies, making it an emotionally open but immaculately constructed pop song.
