Fans have been waiting a while now for the return of Danish alternative pop band MEW. And it looks like they have to wait a bit longer. As the band now announced the long awaited follow up to their 2009 longplayer No More Stories Are Told… won’t be released until 2015. But the good news is – the album will be recorded with the group’s original line-up since they announced the return of Johan Wohlert who left the band back in 2006. Furthermore the band will also play a Scandinavian winter tour. You can find the tour dates below.
Last December MEW already released new material in form of the track Making Friends but not much has happened musically since then. Although not much is known about the current state of the record NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION is optimistic that it will happen in early 2015. Until then enjoy the 2012 released Klassen (The Class) which is also supposed to appear on the new longplayer.
