Handmade Indie Pop meets Electronic Soundscapes? Well, that isn’t something new. But what if that kind of indie-electronica becomes another electronic treatment, two years after it was already released? That’s the stuff which makes us curious!
This time we talk about the Hamburg based trio ME SUCCEEDS, who got remixed by fellow TILMAN TAUSENDFREUND. The song Seventeen from their lovely 2011 album called Rongorongo is usually a cute piece of Indie music, with a broken voice and shredding guitar sounds, not even two minutes long. With help of TILMAN TAUSENDFREUND it becomes one deep club tune. Pumping house beats meet groovy claps, a drunk organ makes that little thing highly melodic and finally some tight electronic cowbells wich sound like straight from 1982 come around.
