We’ve been stumbling over Dutch/Finnish indie folk outfit TOWN OF SAINTS every now and then during the past years (we still got great memories of last year’s Eurosonic Noorderslag performance). Now, the charismatic band around leading duo Harmen Ridderbos and Heta Salkolahti is ready to get to the next level with the help of a brand new album. No Place Like This arrives on April the 1st Snowstar Records/ Caroline International and you can stream it exclusively via NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION already today.

The band is heading for a more tropical and darker influences on No Place Like This, extending the familiar TOWN OF SAINTS sound by adding new elements that enrich their musical microcosm. Compared to the gentle folk melodies on 2013’s debut Something To Fight With there is a certain epic character in all those songs. Still, TOWN OF SAINTS remain fans of a good sing-along chorus and a delicate groove. Well, let’s just call it good pop, shall we? Convince yourself right here.
