Anything referring to our favourite things in the world is welcome, but Düsseldorf duo BAR take it even further: ‘Passion can be felt in everything they say, sing and play. Passion for love, for nights in a neon glow, for dark pulsating bass lines, black and white romance, driving synth beats and the affectionately playful ‘À Rebours’ – aestheticism with no objection to the natural.’

White Noise is a lovely charmer from the dark haunted corners of a synthetic heart. An ice-cold-claustrophobic-wave-version of Where the Wild Roses Grow, the song NICK CAVE plays while hauling down the Autobahn, getting away from the ponds he drowned his muses in.
