Instead of yet another worn out best-of list from 50 to zero, the NBHAP staff went to some length to compile some of the most remarkable new releases under three vital aspects: What was new, what was surprising and what left the most impact? Danish artist Lydmor is an unstoppable force of nature, one that is destined to push her own artistic and personal boundaries with every new release. Her pop is adventurous, relentless and forward-thinking and in a time that’s dominated by a lot of question marks it’s not the worst thing to imagine a better future. Together with her music we might be ready to shape it and this exchange will hopefully ignite it. And of course, she also picked tunes for our beloved playlist.
The current phase of self isolation is forcing us to be creative, kill some time and maybe also do something we've never done before. Listening to music can be a great way of coping with the situation and we decided to make a little challenge out of it. NBHAP head Norman finally found some time to give the music of Icelandic icon Björk far more attention than he did in the past years. And he quickly discovered that it's not enough.
