It looks like the radio silence of iconic NYC underground heroes FISCHERSPOONER is finally over. Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner have now released a brand new single called Have Fun Tonight which is described as ‘a queer dance ballad about polyamory (…or polyagony) encouraging your lover to go out and have fun without you.’
The track was co-produced by BOOTS and former R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe who already spoiled his involvement a few months ago. The accompanying album SIR will be released on September 22 via Ultra Records. On top of that FISCHERSPOONER will also host a museum exhibition under the name SIR at Vienna, Austria’s MUMOK from June 29th through October 29th. Enjoy the new clip right here.
