FULL OF KEYS is the musical moniker of Swedish musician Anni Bernhard, a classically trained musician who decided to turn her hand to the pop game. After two records, 2012’s Traces Of A Human and 2014’s Grazing Grounds, she’s pushing on with the release of new music, and we’ve got the premiere of her new single Me And The Sea right here at NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION.
Me And The Sea was written with Axl Go and Kim W, who have formerly worked with the likes of TOVE LO and ICONA POP, and the song sits very firmly in that kind of sonic territory. It’s a hyper-charged pop song, built around colourful synths that power towards a massive chorus. Bernhard says of the song:
‘Me And The Sea is hopeful and straightforward, It’s about giving in to what you need and listening to your body and mind. I’m actually showing what feels like a new side of FULL OF KEYS.’
