The original line-up of legendary punk rockers MISFITS split of back in 1983, resulting in singer Glenn Danzig founding his own band DANZIG. Back then bassist Jerry Only gained the rights to record and tour under the MISFITS name and it wasn’t the only legal battle between the two gentlemen over the next years.
But now it looks like they both finally burried the hatchet after 33 years as MISFITS will perform for the first time with the original line-up after the initial split. Mr. Danzig will be joined by Jerry Only and long-time guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein for gigs at Riot Fest in Denver (September 2-4) and Chicago (September 16-18). Take that, Axl Rose!
