So as Dare To Follow Me opens, for its first three seconds, it could also slide into Lynch’s weirdest dream if you ask me. But it doesn’t. Probably because HAWKON has a reputation as an unabashed romantic and here executes his fable in a lush and soaring cosmic love song, transcendent and otherworldly, all anchored by a gentle falsetto and R&B harmonies.
