We know we’ve already published NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION‘s very own 2014 list of the finest music videos of the past twelve months. But nothing is set in stone and we’re happy to add another one to that list in form of Finnish musician Miikka Koivisto and his alter ego HISSER. The lead singer of famous Finnish post-hardcore ensemble DISCO ENSEMBLE embarks into new musical territory with Next Life being his second single following the previously released Park Fiction.
A very experimental and ambitious version of synthpop expects the listener on HISSER‘s latest track. The video itself deserves special attention. It looks like a racing simulator of the 1990s, basically consisting of images of crashing cars in a virtual environment. And just like in a video game there’s always a ‘next life’ which could explain the connection to the song. It might seem weird and silly at the beginning but believe us – it’s got quite a hypnotic vibe you can’t resist. See for yourself as we premiere the music video for Next Life right here.
