LA based multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter JULIA HOLTER unveiled the official video for In The Green Wild, taken from her forthcoming album Loud City Song that will be out August 20th in USA and August 19th elsewhere in the world via Domino Records. It’s the follow-up to her acclaimed avant-gard albums Tragedy from 2011 and last year’s Ekstasis.
According to a press release, In the Green Wild “follows the main character of Loud City Song on a path out of the city and into the trees.“ The video, after World the second one from the new LP, was directed by Yelena Zhelezov. With a low-budget aesthetics it shows HOLTER and friends as glamorous, vintage clothed theatregoers, quite good suitable to the jazzy song.
