LINT were one of the best bands NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION saw at this year’s Trondheim Calling and By:Larm Festival 2014. Now the Norwegian post-rock band released their first single from their upcoming debut album, which will (most likely) be out in January 2015. The song is titled Mierka and premieres today right here on NBHAP.
Mierka was recorded at Tinnitus Recordings, Bergen, and mixed by Danish producer Brian Batz, who (as a musician) is known for his bands bands such as SLEEP PARTY PEOPLE and SCARLET CHIVES.
A dark and atmospheric song, that takes LINT’s sound to new highs. It floats between the fragile and hard-hitting, the hectic and the pleasing. Enjoy the the beautiful musical journey. Don’t forget to close your eyes, you’ll dream away.
