After american indie rock heroes MODEST MOUSE revealed several new songs from their upcoming new record Strangers To Ourselves lately, there are now hints from Isaac Brock himself on even more new material coming very soon. In an interview with hmv the frontman spoke about a new record after the one already announced and it is to “be released as quickly as it’s legally allowed to be“. After eight years of silence it’s definitely pretty decent from MODEST MOUSE to treat their fans this way. Still, it remains to be seen, what the follow up to Strangers To Ourselves will sound like, as Brock himself speaks of “something really strange.” So let’s just wait and see and try to not get carried away.
