Beloved Japanese post-rock ensemble MONO just released two new records simultaneously and are now unveiling a beautiful music video from it for the track Where We Begin. The clip features visually impressive footage from a forthcoming short film of the same name which was directed by Mitsuyo Miyakaki. The band’s two new longplayers The Last Dawn and Rays Of Darkness were recorded at the same time but are, according to MONO, quite different from each other. ‘There were black and white sides inside of me, like darkness and hope.’ explains guitarist Takaakira Goto, ‘I felt they could not exist on the same album.’
