Remember that weird music video CALEXICO recently released which featured JOSÉ GONZÁLEZ and a mysterious worm as main protagonists? Well, exactly that clip now gets a second perspective in Open Book, the latest music video by the songwriter. It continues the story of GONZÁLEZ‘ taking care of the weird creature, even when it obviously becomes harder and harder. The song is taken off his latest album Vestiges & Claws. The wonderful SHARON VAN ETTEN has shared a cover version of Remembering Moments, a track by the legendary songwriter KAREN DALTON. The song won’t be featured on her forthcoming new EP I Don’t Want To Let You Down (Out on June 9 via Jagjaguwar) but be part of the compilation Remembering Mountains: Unheard Songs By Karen Dalton which arrives May 26 via Tompkins Square.
