Now, that’s quite an interesting cover attempt. Acclaimed Austrian performer Anja Franziska Plaschg aka SOAP&SKIN covered a track by Syrian performer OMAR SOULEYMAN. The song Mawal Jamar is taken off his 2013 record Wenu Wenu and Plaschg really managed to give it a total different twist. It’s a nice contribution to more international understanding on a cultural level, we must say. Listen to the new SOAP&SKIN piece right here.

Kerry King on the contest of the song: ‘It’s about a dude who wakes up at a crime scene and realises he’s killed everybody. It’s really cool.’ That’s how we like SLAYER.
