It looks like DAFT PUNK‘s Random Access Memory is a fountain of youth for more than one pop star. After bringing PHARRELL back to the scene and having GIORGIO MORODER releasing a new album with 24 the almighty Get Lucky guitarist Nile Rodgers will reactivate his project CHIC for their first album in 23 years. The legendary musician signed a deal with Warner Music to release a full-length album in June with a first single already arriving in March.
Ever since he was part of DAFT PUNK‘s Grammy-winning longplayer the charismatic musician played multiple live shows and worked with various contemporary artists like TENSNAKE. And just to get you into the right disco mode we’re giving you the 1978 CHIC classic Le Freak right here.
