We all want to belong to something or someone yet at the same time maintain our individuality. This dissonance creates a random synchronicity, which ends in a sculptural solidification and petrified as a showpiece of commonality.
Did you ever thought about that idea? It’s this idea which marks the theme of Sacks On Our Backs, the brand new music video from singer OFRIN. It’s a collaboration with global art collective CargoCult and it’s exclusively premiering on NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION today.
Berlin-based musician OFRIN herself plays one of the main parts in the video. Shot in her home town the improvised clip takes place in an urban environment but adds a few more strange aspects to it. The two bodies present the difficulties to exist together by variating between synchrony and asynchrony. Somewhere between arty dancing and humorous elements, but definitely worth to enjoy today. The song is taken off her upcoming new longplayer The Bringer, out in April. And she’s heading for a tour through Israel. Find the dates below.
