When we last heard from DIN MARTIN in 2013, their EP I Never Thought You Would Leave‘s title already suggested a little pause. But mourn not, the wait is over: The Leipzig based foursome is back with a new EP called Falling Apart, out March 11th via Kick The Flame/Analogsoul. The title-track premieres here today via a new video and it contains all the elements we learned to love DIN MARTIN for: pop harmonies, twisted and shaken up by shoegaze and postrock elements. This first bit is an excellent nod towards Scandinavian brothers in mind such as IMMANU EL, EF or JENIFEREVER. Here’s what the band had to say about their new material:
Compared to our last releases we tried to condense sounds and structures more on our new EP ‘Falling Apart’. We wanted to compose less excessively songs without loosing our complexity. This title track is a good example of that approach.
Enjoy the comeback of Leipzig’s very own DIN MARTIN right here and check out the upcoming tourdates below. Falling Apart is out March 11th via Kick The Flame/Analogsoul.
