The Prodigy - PressIt’s been a while. The last studio album by legendary British rave rockers THE PRODIGY, Invaders Must Die, was released back in 2009. Now, five years later the group around mastermind Liam Howlett is preparing the release of a follow-up. As the producer told NME, we can expect the ‘violent sounding’ new album to drop later this year.

Howlett reveals: ‘It feels wilder. It’s not so much old-school. It’s neither guitar-based not synth-based; it’s kind of a mixture. It doesn’t feel so radio-friendly to me; it feels like its got a lot of edge.’

Chances are good that we’ll see the birth of the new THE PRODIGY record later ion 2014. NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION will keep you updated on this as we enjoy a single from the last record right here.
