These two gentlemen from L.A. are about to enter your dreams. RADAR CULT are Luke Waites and K.C. Maloney and they certainly stand on the more sinister side of pop. A place where hearts are broken and vulnerable minds collide. For a glimpse of that just listen to the exclusive premiere of RADAR CULT‘s song Chemical Fire below. There’s a lot of room, a lot of wave, reverb and no doubt, it might recall THE XX if you listen to it. Nonetheless, this is something of its own and as the first EP Splitting is coming our way next week via Grand Palais/Rough Trade, we are quite eager for what’s still to come from these two. For now, we’re happily unhappy with Chemical Fire.
