ROBOTS DON’T SLEEP is the latest project of German producer and solo artist Robot Koch. And Mr. Robot seems not to sleep indeed if you look at the long list of EPs, LPs, remixes and features this man has put out since the beginning of this century. As extensive as this list is Koch’s musical background. He tried everything, from Hardcore to piano playing to jazz, until he started concentrating on electronic music and founded the band JAHCOOZI in 2002.
His self-titled debut EP as ROBOTS DON’T SLEEP came out in 2012 and now there will be a second album called Mirror. It is due to be released on April 25 through Four Music. Koch worked togehter with US singer John LaMonica and Danish musician Sebastian Lind and created tuneful tracks that focuse on singing and songwriting.
The causual single Trouble is taken off the new work and is shown to be one of those earworms that never get annoying. Clap your hands and sing along with the catchy hookline.
