In the past years legendary SIOXUSIE AND THE BANSHEES leading lady SIOUXSIE SIOUX remained relatively quiet with the exception of a few live performances. Now, the charismatic wave pop queen returns with Love Crime, her first new song in eight years. The haunting piece was written for the forthcoming season finale of the TV series Hannbial. It’s a collaboration with composer Brian Reitzell who also writes the score for the show.
He explained her contribution: ‘We knew that she was a fan of the show, and we reached out to see if she’d be interested in writing a song. Essentially, she hasn’t had a single in eight years, and she said she hadn’t been inspired to write in a long time, but that Hannibal had inspired her and she would write a new song.’
