The Libertines

It’s a good day for all fans of legendary Britrockers THE LIBERTINES. Pete Doherty, Carl Barât and co. announced their first European tour in over a decade, following their epic gig in London’s Hyde Park in early July. And the group also hints on actually recording new material. Doherty told The Daily Record: ‘A new record is exactly what we’re talking about, that’s the dream, really. Finish off all those ideas that we never completed back in the day, all those songs we never played for anyone else that have been floating around in the ether. We’re also wanting to try out a few new ideas so it wouldn’t just be old stuff. ‘
