After years of silence Norwegian slowcore project THE WHITE BIRCH returns with new material in form of the track Lantern. Mastermind Ola Fløttum recently also announced that the first album by his band since 2005’s Come Up For Air is set for a release later this year, featuring 12 new songs.
Back in 2006 THE WHITE BIRCH members Hans Christian Almendingen and Ulf Rogde left the band, leaving Fløttum all by himself. Over the past years he mainly recorded music for various films. Lantern is one of them and it’s also featured in the film Blind. That’s why the video clip also features scenes from Blind. Truly beautiful music – enjoy it right here.
