It’s all about the here and now and living the moment. That might be one reason why this Australian band named itself TORA, the Greek word for ‘now’. Because the sound of their latest single Jaigantic perfectly fits into the trend of crafted musicians who tend to combine soulful songs with a synthetic musical environment. And just like their fellow countrymen CHET FAKER or FLUME these guys have found a really enjoyable balance between multiple musical worlds.
And it’s kind of hard to not fall for Jaigantic, the latest single by TORA. A gentle and sweet beat, tender guitar play and on top of those heart-wrenching vocals that will instantly crawl underneath your skin. Light-hearted on one side and packed with emotions on the other – there’s surely a few reasons why to look forward to their debut album High Enough which is set for a release on May the 11th.
