Influential postrock band TORTOISE finally reports back with The Catastrophist, their first studio album since 2009. The new record will be released on January 22 via label Thrill Jockey. The album will also feature vocals by YO LA TENGO”s Georgia Hubley and Todd Rittmann from U.S. MAPLE/DEAD RIDER. The band promises another jazz-inspired piece of experimental rock with this one. And the artwork which you can find above is pretty awesome as well.
