The longtime readers of NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION might remember German tropical pop outfit YOUNG HARE and their catchy single Isla Nuba from 2014. We also streamed their really entertaining debut album Unbreak My Heart for free back then which makes us even happier that these guys finally report back with new music. And a few things changed for the band – who turned from a duo to a trio, thanks to their new singer Jan.
Troublems is a first teaser of the new YOUNG HARE sound which – thankfully – isn’t that far away form the one we’ve come to love. The three-piece delivers a tender and dreamy little synthpop gem with an addictive groove that is destined to lead you straight into the weekend. The accompanying clip is based on the 1980 Jim Jarmush flick Permanent Vacation and was edited by video artist Stefan Haag aka CHINASKI. We’re exclusively premiering the video for Troublems today ahead of the single release on May 2. Enjoy it right here.
