Far away in America. Beloved dream poppers FENSTER touring the USA right now in preperation of the upcoming new album The Pink Caves. Over the next days the band will be sharing some impressions with us here at NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION, in form of an exclusive tour diary. So why don’t we just just start and let the photos do the talking. Have a look on the first two days of their trip right here.
Third time’s the charm! We left the blue skies of early Berlin Spring to embark on our third tour in the USA! This time, we (Rémi, Johnny and JJ) have the pleasure of welcoming our newest band member Lucas to ramble through the wilds of the American East coast and beyond. First stop, NYC…
After an 8 hour flight hurtling through time and space we arrived spacey but happy at JFK airport and set off on the subway to our first stop – BUSHWICK!
We are greeted by our friendly host Matt from Japanther with tasty homemade snacks and green water. Matt is gearing up for another trip to SXSW too – here he is getting his hands dirty making new Japanther tie-dye magic shirts.
We got right to work trying to find the best rental car ever! Jersey, we’ll see you and our new tour mobile on monday…
Here’s the view from the overground subway from Brooklyn to Manhattan…warm beds and sleepy time here we come…zzzz
Day two hitting the ground running! We stopped by to scavenge the storage unit for relics of tours past…
And look what we found!!!
GEAR SHOPPING!!!!!
Crossing the Williamsburg bridge at night…Goodnight NYC
Here’s the view from our room this morning…
